Flashback Cinema hosts classic movies in select theaters across the U.S. and many more local movie houses and drive-ins are showing old movies. Gift cards, a ticket subscription and other possibilities would be the perfect gift for the classic movie lover.

Gift a streaming service subscription

A gift subscription to a video streaming service will likely set you back a few bucks but well worth it for the depth of classic movies.

Hulu includes classic movie hidden gems and sells gift cards at retailers such as Target. The Criterion Channel offers gift subscriptions from a month to a year. Streamers such as Tubi and Pluto TV are free (with ads) but include many classic movie deep cuts and cult favorites. Even getting a free service set up for someone who isn’t tech savvy can be a great budget gift: just give your time!
